Courses programme
Morning – Classroom-based French Course
Morning classes focus on enriching your subject-specific vocabulary (agriculture, medicine, politics, environment, security, etc.), the rhetorical organization of speech, as well as numerous listening comprehension (French C) and speaking activities (French B).

Noon – Lunch in a restaurant with your teacher
Lunch with your working group and your teacher is optional. Nevertheless, it is the ideal opportunity to discover the local restaurants of Montpellier and practise your French in a real-life context.

Afternoon – Cultural Immersion
Every language is a culture in itself, with its cultural codes (“tu” and “vous”), the way society works (strikes in France), its ways of thinking, of seeing the world (conception of secularism, power, male/female relations, etc.), and its history, which always influences the present and the language of a country.

The afternoons are therefore devoted to a deep understanding of present-day French society. Thanks, among other things, to meetings with actors in the field (farmers, fishermen, policemen, business leaders, teachers, members of NGOs, local elected officials, etc.) you will practise French in different professional contexts in order to be better able to interpret it.
